Is it any wonder kids are getting fat? Schools serve soda, they're taking away PE and recess, McDonald's is now being put in some larger American schools, and then they serve stuff like this. Be prepared to be grossed out and pack your kids a healthy lunch once in a while.
Note: I think that the school cooks do the best they can with what they're given and the budget they have to work with. I think the food shown here (from the Harrisonburg, VA school system) is just another example of how the government really is short changing our kids. You can view more photos here.
