It's summertime, do you know your SPF

It's almost summertime and one of the most important things to remember is to please wear sunscreen, it's cheap (you can buy it at the dollar store), it's plentiful (it's available everywhere), and it will keep you from looking like a prune in your suntanned old age.

Some facts:

In 2004:

50,039 people in the United States were diagnosed with skin cancer.

7,952 people in the United States died of skin cancer.

The CDC recommends lathering on a sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 15, although this seems a bit low to me. More information on skin cancer here
